Job Description

A full-time Elementary Resource/Inclusion position is available in a dedicated elementary school setting in Elkhart, IN. This contract opportunity is ideal for educators committed to supporting diverse learners within an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide tailored instruction and support to students with special education needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with Indiana state guidelines
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral growth for students with disabilities
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration to foster a supportive learning community

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Special Education Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in resource or inclusion settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral interventions
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
