Job Description

**Position: Hotel Room Inspector**

**About the Role:**

As a Hotel Room Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and welcoming environment during their stay. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the housekeeping team, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and addressing guest concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assign tasks to Room Attendants and provide training on housekeeping duties, while also being hands-on with cleaning as needed.
- Maintain accurate room occupancy records.
- Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services or equipment.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Stock and organize linen shelves to ensure availability.
- Inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
- Monitor linen and supply inventory, assisting in budget control by supervising usage.
- Record inspection results and communicate any issues to cleaning staff.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to address any concerns that require their attention.
- Uphold key control policies to ensure security.
- Greet guests warmly and proactively to enhance their experience.
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, storage areas, laundry facilities, restrooms, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness.
- Distribute keys and assign work to staff members.
- Follow up on the status of both vacant and occupied rooms.
- Ensure the Housekeeper's Report is completed and communicate the status of clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction and reporting any issues to the relevant departments.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and effectively communicate them to team members.

**What We're Looking For:**

- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least one year of experience in housekeeping or a related field, including some supervisory experience.

You will start by familiarizing yourself with the property, guest rooms, and housekeeping equipment and supplies. Your focus will be on upholding cleanliness standards throughout the hotel. As you settle into your role, you will be instrumental in ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional sanitation and presentation of the hotel.
